Junior (2004-2005): Indoor, was 3rd team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) in the 800m, 6th in the (GLIAC) 4x400...Outdoor, Honorable Mention All-GLIAC in the 800m (5th), and 5th in the (GLIAC) 4x400m...Awarded Co-MVP for the Indoor Season.

Sophomore (2003-04): Placed 12th in the GLIAC for track in the 1600m and 1500m, placed 6th in the (GLIAC) 4x800m and 10th in the 800m for the indoor season, was 7th in the (GLIAC) 4x400m outdoors.

Freshman (2002-2003): Named all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) 3rd Team for indoor track in 4x800m...Outdoor Track was 6th in (GLIAC) 4x400m...Named LSSU Freshman of the Year for outdoor track...Awarded the McDermott Award.

2001-2002: Redshirted.

High School: Two year letter winner in track and field at Holt High School (Mich.)...Named 1st team all-Capitol Area Conference(CAC) in the 400m dash, 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400 as a junior...Also named 1st team all-West Region in the 400m dash and 4x100m dash and participated in the Lansing Area Honor Roll meet in the 4x100 and 4x400 as a junior...Named All-State as a senior in the 4x400 relay, 4x200 relay and set the Holt school record in the 4x400m relay and 4x200m relay...Also led the Rams to the 2001 CAC Boys Basketball Championship...Also lettered in football.

Personal: Son of John and Robin Malatinsky...Brother Cole plays football at Michigan State University, and sister Annie plays basketball at Eastern Michigan University...Ross is majoring in elementary education.
