ROCHESTER - Ben Tarbutton finished 26th in 12:24.5 to lead the Lake Superior State men's cross country team at the Michigan Intercollegiate held Friday at the Oakland University Golf Course.

The LSSU men's squad finished seventh among 15 teams, while the Laker women were 10th among 19 teams.

Charlie Johnson finished 32nd in 12:32.4, followed by Tom Thornton in 36th place (12:41.1), Scott Hosie in 37th (12:42.2), Chris Olds in 39th (12:48.9) and Matt Merian in 43rd (12:52.8).

Brooke Brenner was 35th in 15:09.2 to lead the Laker women's team. Mandi DeBlock placed 37th in 15:11.4, followed by Michelle Ballance, who was 52nd (15:36.9) and Charlotte Folkersma, who was 55th (15:43.1). Stephanie Riedel was 60th in 15:46.0, and Christina Etapa was 73rd in 16:19.2.
