Katie Scott

Dec. 3, 2006

VANCOUVER, B.C. - All-Great Lakes Region runner Katie Scott, a freshman at Lake Superior State, placed 22nd at the 2006 Canadian Cross Country Championships held Saturday.

"Katie ran a great race in the snow and mud in Vancouver," LSSU coach Steve Eles said. "The top 12 athletes are in the selection pool for the World Cross Country Championships. The top 24 are in the selection pool for the North American Central American and Carribean Championships to be held in Clearmont, Fla., in March. We will find out in the next week or so if she will make the team."
