FINDLAY, Ohio - Lake Superior State's Brad Ward shot a 78-70-148 to finish third overall and three strokes behind medalist Kyle Weisenburger at the Oiler Spring Invitational held Friday and Saturday at Sycamore Springs Golf Course.

Josh Valencic carded a 76-75-151 to tie for sixth as the Lakers placed sixth among 13 teams with a 628 team total. Ferris State won the meet with 605 points.

Mike Gietzen (83-80-163) tied for 47th, and Matt Hechlik (79-87-166) tied for 54th.
