AUBURN, Ind. - Lake Superior State junior Brad Ward shot a 74-68-142 to finish even par and tie for sixth place at the NCAA Great Lakes Spring Qualifier held Sunday and Monday at Deer Track Golf Course.

LSSU's Josh Valencic (78-76-154) and Matt Hechlick (78-76-154) tied for 57th. The Lakers finished 15th in the 18-team field with 608 points. Grand Valley won the team title with an even-par 568. Medalist Matt Gade of Bellarmine (66-69-135) finished 7-under.
