MIDLAND - Lake Superior State senior Brad Ward was named to the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference First Team, while junior Frank Kucher earned second-team honors for the 2003-04 season.

Ward posted the league's second-best stroke average of 73.1. He was second only to Grand Valley's Kevin Kremer, a senior with a 71.8 average. Ward's stellar collegiate career included a sixth-place finish in the NCAA Super Regional in 2003 and a fifth-place finish in 2004. He was a co-winner of this year's LSSU outstanding male athlete award.

Kucher was ranked ninth in the league in scoring with a 74.2 average.
