Oct. 7, 2003 ERIE, Pa. - Two Lake Superior State golfers are in the top 15 after the first two rounds of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship, which concludes with two 18-hole rounds today at Lake Shore Country Club. LSSU's Frank Kucher shot a 75-75-150 on Monday to tie for 10th place, while Brad Ward (76-75-151) is tied for 14th. Findlay's David Morgan and Wayne State's Lance Chamberlain share the lead at 143. LSSU is currently eighth with 617 strokes and trails leader Wayne State by 28. Mike Gietzen of LSSU is tied for 22nd at 75-78-153. Jason Solgat (82-84-166) is tied for 56th, followed by Geoff Arnoldy (86-81-167), who is tied for 58th. |
