COLDWATER - Senior Frank Kucher tied for 28th with a 76-78-88--242 to lead the Lake Superior State golf team at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships held Saturday and Sunday at Blackberry Patch Golf Course.

Freshman Ryan Gnatkowski was 45th with an 80-82-86--248, while Mike Gietzen (86-84-87--257) tied for 56th. Geoff Arnoldy (88-84-86--258) placed 58th, and Jon Clarke (95-81-88--264) was 60th.

The Lakers placed 11th among 12 teams. Ferris State won the team title.
