Prior to LSSU: Led the Vaughan Vipers of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League in scoring in 2005-06 with 28-38--66 in 48 games...Was named the 2005-06 most-improved player in the OPJHL South Division and was ranked 17th in the league in scoring...Was ranked 131st on the Central Scouting Services final rankings for the 2006 National Hockey League Entry Draft...Scored two goals and was named Player of the Game, and finished second in the fastest skater competition at the 2005 Canadian Junior A Hockey League Prospects Game...Was voted 2005 male athlete of the year at St. Basil's High School.
