Freshman (2006-07): Scored his first collegiate goal and added an assist as the Lakers defeated Ohio State 7-6 in overtime (10/14)...Tallied an unassisted goal in a 4-3 overtime loss to Notre Dame (1/12)...Scored the game-winning goal at 17:51 of the third period to give LSSU a 3-2 victory over Ferris State (3/4) during Game 3 of the Lakers' best-of-three Central Collegiate Hockey Association first-round playoff series.

Prior to LSSU: Totaled 15 goals and 26 assists in 59 games for the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders of the United States Junior Hockey League in 2005-06...Led the Rough Riders in game-winning goals...Was a teammate of fellow Laker rookie Steven Kaunisto in Cedar Rapids...Sellers, Kaunisto and Laker Marty Gurnoe were also teammates on the Soo Indians in 2004-05...Sellers led the Indians in points and assists (11-37--48) in 2004-05 and was ranked seventh in the North American Hockey League that season...Played for the Danville Wings (USHL) in 2003-04.

Personal: Son of Joe and Sheryl Sellers...Brother (Joe) played for Ohio State from 1990-94...A 2004 graduate of Canton High School...Planning to major in business management.
