HOUGHTON - The Lake Superior State men's tennis team improved to 1-1 after beating Lewis in a non-conference match Saturday at Michigan Tech. The Lakers lost to MTU on Sunday..

LSSU swept singles play, including a three-set victory by Dan Stam at No. 6 singles. Lewis forfeited two matches.

The Lakers picked up wins at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 singles, and No. 1 doubles against Michigan Tech (4-6).
