MIDLAND - Mercyhurst defeated Lake Superior State 5-0 Sunday to hold onto fifth place in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Tournament.

The Lakers, who were seeded sixth in the tournament, finished their season 9-13 overall. No. 5 seed Mercyhurst improved to 8-9.
