SAULT STE. MARIE - Riverview High School senior guard/forward Sarah Cubr has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at Lake Superior State University. Cubr (5-10) averaged 15 points, six rebounds, four steals and four assists per game for Riverview during her junior campaign in 2005-06. Her senior season is just underway. Last season's honors included Detroit Free Press All-State Sixth Team, Detroit Free Press All-West Honorable Mention, Detroit Free Press Top Performers during the week of Sept. 28, 2006, and News-Herald Dream Team. Cubr helped lead Riverview to a Class B district title. |
