Knoop played shortstop and second base for the Lakers in 2007. She was second on the team in batting with a .277 average. The Reed City High School captain had an on-base percentage of .601 while hitting .513 as a senior in 2006. She was 13-3 as a pitcher and had a 1.47 ERA. She earned several honors, including Division II all-state honorable mention, All-Western Waterways Activities Conference and Cadillac News All-Area. Daughter of Tom and Lauri Knoop.
