Dr. Terry Samuels is the medical director at the Little Traverse Bay Tribe of Odawa Indians located near Petoskey, Mich. He is in his second season as a Lakers' assistant coach.

Samuels' vast coaching background includes several years with the Ann Arbor Gold organization, and he most-recently coached the Michigan Blues 23-under team. He is a bronze-rated coach in the ASA/USA Softball certification program.

Samuels' daughter, Cherish (LSSU '06), is a former LSSU pitcher who holds the Lakers' career strikeout record.
