SAULT STE. MARIE - The Lake Superior State softball team's annual "Take me out to the ballgame" dinner is from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the Elks Lodge.

LSSU softball players will be preparing and serving hamburgers, hotdogs. conqueso, salsa and chips. The all-you-can-eat meal is free, but donations are welcome.

Pingatore Cleaners is sponsoring the event, which is open to the public. Several items will be auctioned off, including a quilt donated by Shar Christensen.

The LSSU softball team is preparing for the 2008 season, which opens in Ocoee, Fla., on March 1 against Winona State.
