SAULT STE. MARIE - NCAA III powerhouse DePauw (5-0) claimed two of three three-set matches and swept doubles play to win Saturday's women's tennis dual, 7-2, at the Arbuckle Student Activity Center.

The highlight of the Lakers' match was Carolyn Pumford's come-from-behind win at No. 6 singles. After losing the first set 4-6, Pumford rallied back from a 3-0 deficit in the second set and won the match, 4-6, 7-6, 7-6.

The Lakers (9-9) are off until March 24-26 when they play key regional matches against Grand Valley State, Ferris State and Wayne State.
