GRANDVILLE, Mich.--The Lake Superior State women's tennis team lost to Grand Valley State University 5-4 Friday afternoon. GVSU is 18-6 overall and LSSU is 10-10.

"The match was really down to the wire," said LSSU coach Charlie Drury. "We had a lot of opportunities. I was really proud of the way the girls played. It was bittersweet start to the weekend. We were two really evenly matched teams. The girls had great attitudes. Things are really looking good for our team."
