HOUGHTON - The Lake Superior State women's tennis team defeated Michigan Tech 7-2 on Wednesday to improve to 8-1 during its spring season and 15-7 overall.

The Lakers are playing an abbreviated spring season while waiting for a bid to the NCAA Tournament, which will be held in May.
