SAULT STE. MARIE - Senior Megan LaMothe posted a three-set victory at No. 1 singles and lost a 9-8 heartbreaker while teammed with Gaby Juan-Alladio at No. 1 doubles during Saturday's women's tennis dual match with Michigan Tech held at the Arbuckle Student Activity Center.

The Huskies defeated LSSU, 8-1. The Lakers dropped to 0-3 overall and 0-3 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. They travel to Ferris State on Sept. 28.
