DETROIT - The Lake Superior State women's tennis team claimed wins at Nos. 1 and 2 singles, and No. 3 doubles during a 6-3 loss at Wayne State on Thursday. The match was moved up one day from the original schedule to accommodate today's non-conference match at Tiffin. The Lakers are 0-6, while Wayne State improved to 2-3. LSSU senior Megan LaMothe won her No. 1 singles match 6-2, 7-6 and improved her singles record to 4-2. LSSU added junior Rachel Hall to its roster, and she competed at No. 6 singles. Hall is a member of the Laker softball team and played high school tennis.
