Oct. 6, 2006 ASHLAND, Ohio - The Lake Superior State women's tennis team hit the road and got back on the winning track. The Lakers, who suffered back-to-back home losses last weekend, swept all three doubles matches and won hard-fought battles at Nos. 5 and 6 singles on their way to a 7-2 victory at Ashland on Friday. They play Mercyhurst and Charleston on Saturday in Erie, Pa. LSSU improved to 4-2 overall and in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play, while AU dropped to 5-7 overall and 1-7 in the league.
