HILLSDALE - Tenth-ranked Hillsdale totaled 16 service aces on its way to a 30-21, 30-13, 30-16 home victory over Lake Superior State in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball match Friday.

The Chargers improved to 17-0 overall and 8-0 in the GLIAC, while LSSU dropped to 5-13 overall and 2-7 in league play.

After finishing 1-1 during this week's road trip, LSSU returns home to play host to Michigan Tech at 7 p.m. Monday at Bud Cooper Gymnasium.

Ashley Wyers totaled nine kills and Ali Jones added eight to lead the Lakers.

Hillsdale posted an impressive attack percentage of .442 and held LSSU to .129. The Chargers also had eight team blocks to the Lakers' two.
