Oct. 6, 2006 SAULT STE. MARIE - Junior Ashley Wyers totaled 16 kills and a .464 attack percentage for the Lake Superior State volleyball team, which concluded a three-match homestand with a 30-26, 30-21, 30-27 loss to 23rd-ranked Findlay on Friday at Bud Cooper Gymnasium. Brishia Stroven added eight kills and Ali Jones had six for the Lakers (5-16 overall, 2-10 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference). Erin McLain finished with 33 assists, while Jessica Ewer totaled 16 digs. Erin Puthoff totaled 20 kills for the Oilers (15-4 overall, 7-3 GLIAC). |
