Oct. 13, 2006 HOUGHTON - Michigan Tech swept the Lake Superior State volleyball team 3-0 in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match on Friday, winning 30-11, 30-20, 30-21. Ashley Wyers led LSSU (5-17 overall, 2-11 GLIAC) with seven kills and eight digs. Sara Hess added six kills and two solo blocks. Jessica Ewer totaled a team-high 15 digs. Jen Jung led Michigan Tech (13-10 overall, 9-5 GLIAC) with 13 kills. The Lakers play at Northern Michigan at 4 p.m. on Saturday. |
