Oct. 20, 2006 BIG RAPIDS - The Lake Superior State volleyball team lost in three sets to Ferris State in its final regular-season road match, which was held Friday. Ferris State improved to 18-6 overall and 10-5 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with the 30-27, 30-18, 30-25 victory. LSSU dropped to 5-20 overall, 2-14 GLIAC. Ali Jones totaled 11 kills and had a .250 attack percentage to lead the Lakers. Ashley Wyers added eight kills and nine digs, while Erin McLain had 24 assists. LSSU returns home to play Saginaw Valley State at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27. |
